We are pleased to announce the merger of two great organizations dedicated to the prefabricated manufacturing and offsite construction technology sector within the AEC industry.  

SynTech Design, Inc., a Building Information Modeling firm headquartered in the United States and Unique Building Concepts, LLC headquartered in Hyderabad, India, announced their merger today, creating a global industry leader in the prefabricated manufacturing and offsite construction technology field.  The combined company will operate under the brand modl (pronounced model) Technologies, LLC.

Michael Iagnemma, former President of Synergy Steel and SynTech Design, Inc. will serve as modl Technologies’ CEO while Venkat Borusu will serve as the Company’s Director of Global Affairs.  The headquarters of the combined company will be in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

SynTech offers 3D BIM modeling, design and engineering services to light gauge steel manufacturers and fabricators.  SynTech’s BIM services serve as the project backbone to architects, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers for innovative solutions.  SynTech professionals implement this technology to assemble projects in a virtual environment, identifying problems at the initial stage allows for clash detection and conflict resolution.  In turn, SynTech professionals facilitate project coordination, risk mitigation, logistics planning and cost optimization to their clients.  Through Building Information Modeling, SynTech gains perspective vision through 3D visualization, animation walkthrough and 3D Modeling.

UBC has over 50 years of collective industry expertise in both the residential and commercial construction sectors building over 10 million sq ft of developed projects with global operational expertise in India and other countries. UBC has grown from 4 people in 2019 to 70 people in 2022.

UBC is the single largest company with more than 50 people trained in Vertex BD tool for detailing and modeling with partnership with Vertex Systems, Finland for training and delivery of detailing services using Vertex BD tools as well as training college students on the tool. 

UBC also has a relationship with Howick, New Zealand and also Atir Engineering of Israel for Strap engineering tool to promote each other’s business.
